Bandon Schools

Cork Constitution, 14th May, 1829
Mr Meiny - Professor of Dancing at the Bandon Endowed School advertised that he would give instruction in the polite art of Dancing at Bandon, the first week in each Month and at Kinsale, the second.  He also advertised giving instruction in the art of fencing and in the calisthenic or femal gymnastic errcies for promoting health and for physical development.  He added that he proposed to spend the following summer in Franc and Italy and would take charge of a Young Gentleman who might wish to travel in those countries.
